COMMON PROCEDURES

Endoscopy

Endoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows our specialists to examine the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory system using a flexible camera. Because endoscopy requires no large surgical incision, recovery is often faster and more comfortable for patients.

Endoscopy can be used to:

  • Evaluate chronic vomiting or diarrhea
  • Obtain biopsy samples
  • Remove certain foreign objects
  • Investigate chronic coughing
  • Examine the esophagus, stomach, intestines, and airways
